The invention of the smart phones has revolutionized the
world, giving everyone access to an un-measurable amount of information. As time
goes on, developers across the globe continue to release applications that make
everyday life just a little bit easier.
We all know that purchasing and selling a home is one of the
biggest and most stressful times in people’s lives. So we’re going to discuss a
handful of apps that you can install on your smart phone to make things a bit
HomeSnap: We've all driven and seen that one house that
seems to stick out among the rest. Leaving our imagination to wonder what the
insides may look at and how much a home like that possibly cost. With this app
you are now a simple picture away from all this information, by taking a
picture of the home you are provided with interior picture, estimated value,
number of bed and baths as well as tax information.
MagicPlan: Creating a floor plan can be incredibly tedious
forcing us to move furniture, squeeze into tight spaces and be very time consuming.
However with MagicPlan by simply walking around with your phone or tablet
taking pictures, the app will automatically generate a floor plan for you.
Home3D: When purchasing a new home, it’s typically very
challenging to picture if all your stuff will fit and where it will all go.
With this free design application you can plan your home, arrange furniture,
change wall color and view it all in 3D
Hammerpoint: Rarely is a home ever perfect, there are always
upgrades that you would make the home better. However the amount of research
required to see how much renovating that out of date kitchen would cost, is
more than most people are willing to do. Hammerpoint is a project estimator
that provided detailed professional estimates in a matter of minutes.
Zillow: Finally we've all heard about Trulia, Zillow,
Realtor.com these companies all provide apps that allow their users to see
recent sales, what’s currently on the market and a variety of other
specifications. While they aren't as detailed and reliable as your Realtor they
are a great resource to get a general idea of any given area.
There are dozens of other applications out there these are
only a handful of them. The reality is we rely on smartphones for numerous
things time, calendar, directions and email. Why not let it help you purchase
or sell your home.

Mortgage interest rate decreases… what does it mean for 2019?
"We worked with Karen Venier for a relatively short time for a good reason: our home sold at full price within hours of hitting the market! While it’s true that the Denver housing market is “hot,” credit for the speed and ease of our transaction belongs to Karen. She was great to work with, giving us perfect advice about readying our home for sale and then expertly guiding us from offer to close. Along the way, we came to appreciate Karen for her skillful blend of professionalism and personal touches – like dropping off our favorite beverages during a particularly stressful time in our move or shoveling our driveway in subzero temps after we’d left the state (way beyond the call of duty!). Now that we’ve relocated to Wisconsin, we keep saying that we wish Karen could be our buyer’s agent here. Since that’s not possible, we’ll shout her name loudly to whoever might be looking for a home in the Denver area.
Thanks for the great work, Karen!
