Does A School District Matter When Buying Or Selling A Home

Should you be concerned about the school district when purchasing your new home???




In my opinion - the answer is a resounding - yes!  If you were to compare homes built in two different suburbs of the metro area (the names of these suburbs are being withheld to protect the innocent), both homes built by the same builder within a year of each other for the same initial cost, the results may shock you.  Similar style homes built in the better ranked school district are currently selling for $50,00 to $100,000 more.  Granted, it could be argued that the higher priced homes are situated closer to the Mountains, however, that isn't necessarily the case. 


Are you thinking to yourself...  I don't have school age children, so it doesn't really matter....  If you are looking for getting the biggest return on your investment, yes, it does matter!  I challenge you to prove me wrong....
